In regards to the SPER Act, would the equivalent here be the Fines Enforcement and Debt Recovery Act 2017?

Also, my son has 75 fines in FERU (Fines Enforcement and Recovery Unit) dating from 2015 until now unpaid. I am thinking of either the bill of exchange process the A4V process. With so many fines, would I just list all those fine numbers on the BOE or how would that go?

I realize why the police are not coming onto our property, because on our sign it states we reserve the right to deny entry when failing to provide a crown warrant. Is a warrant from a magistrate a crown warrant? i think not.

Thank you both, Morag and Ant, for all your support!! My son decided to register, but how do we now deregister?? We have a recording and footage from a two separate times of them refusing to answer our questions and being really rude and not going by their code of conduct. i will file a formal complaint on that part. This has given me good experience for the future, anyway. The problem is i’m sure he will really dig his feet in further on another dog issue about not registering a different dog last year. He has sent it to the fines unit and they have suspended my drivers license for that. I guess this is all good practice.

I was thinking of walking in the council with a notice of conditional acceptance type of thing for them to sign?

  • If you look at the updated module which if you bought it, you can update for no cost, it has the address needed to correspond with ABRS. When ASIC sent me the letter you posted, i thanked them but continued the process with ASIC and did the process with ABRS, as well.

As I am busy doing paperwork for several fines and learning how to hold my position on the money order sent to the council for the dog rego, they sent me a fine for ‘not registering the dog’. In other words, they have ignored the whole money order process. Is there some wording I should put on the fine paper and return?

Hi friends, with this same money order process, they have ignored my letters regarding it and now have put it in the fines unit, which are the debt collectors. Now i need to deal withthem? Do i keep addressing the council? They will probably say, we cannot do anything contact the fines unit and the fines unit will say, we don’t have any information, we just collect the debt. You need to contact the council. Benn down this road many times, but not with a money order.

Hi, we sent off the first lot of documents, tomorrow is day 15 to send off the 2nd lot and my husband received the attached letter by email. Do we ignore it? Of course i know to continue on with the process, as they have not responded to the 1 st lot, just wondering about this email…

I also have something really frustrating with the first lot is that i sent it off and then realized that i didn’t get a copy of everything. So 2 days later i sent it out again making sure that i have a copy of everything. But i now cannot find the receipts for the registered mail. I do have the registered post number, but no lodgment receipts. So i have the first receipts from the first lot sent, with no copies, and copies of the second with no lodgment receipts. but the first would be identical to the second, except the date and possibly signature slightly. Should be all okay?

Also, about the addresses to send to, I cannot find my previous post on it. The certificates of mailing included in the pack are only made out to the po box address.I am looking for the webinar to rewatch that part, but looks like it is not uploaded yet.

I agree with you on this all. My son (18) tried for 30 days, he said his mind was never so clear and energy very stable, no ups or downs. He will do again in the near future. My mom in her 60s says when she sticks to the carnivore diet her arthritis disappears and all aches and pains. A bit of veggies and back to the old problems.

The instructions state to send the documents to Joseph Longo.

There are 2 addresses on the documents. Do I send to both or only the PO box? It looks like the other address is to ASIC.

Yes, I agree. He just received a stack of the 75 fines, as they do send when he stops paying for awhile. So i was thinking to get on it with either the A4V process or BOE, hence my question about the tear away bottom if the statement, as Marc precisely expresses that for the A4V it needs a tear away. It seems to me nowadays there is no tear away because people pay digitally more often than not.So, wondering if these qualify for the A4V process…

Well, all up, the 75 fines together have 42,000$ (forty-two thousand) owing. He has paid about 30,000$ to date.

Thank you so much for all the support here!

I have been doing these responses with fines, etc. for 1 1/2 now, but seems something new is always coming up in life that you need to hold your position on.

I did call and record the conversation on Friday ( it is now Monday) and the guy would have none of answering anything i asked. He says put it writing in the mail if i want. He says the answer to any of my questions is to rego the dog and pick her up. This is a time sensitive matter and i feel the pressure as they said she will be going to rspca if we do not pick up. I know it will just multiply the problems if that happens. Can you point me in a direction of how to write up a contract or what module maybe can help? i appreciate the words and support, sometimes others can see another perspective. This guy i have been dealing with for 1 1/2 on other dog not registering fines, so he is very upset at me to begin with.If we can cross the line with this one, it probably means i can cross the line on the rest of the stuff i have going. That is why he is so stubborn on this.

Hi there, thanks for all this inspiring help and support!

I called them up, the guy wouldn’t answer my question, said he didn’t know what i was talking about, gave the ultimatum again of ‘do the right thing and register your dog and pick her up’. He then hung up on me.

It is friday so he says if we don’t get there by 4:30, off to the rspca the dog goes.

I did mange to record the last minute of our conversation, him telling me it was not relevant if i was a person or man or woman. I am trying to tack my brain about how to get that dog out asap. Of course sending anything by mail will take too long, so i will go in again tomorrow with any relevant documents. But by the way he and the co worker acted today, i can see him just waving me off and walking away again. How do i handle that? When i was asking the co worker where they get their authority from to not give our property back, she just kept saying it’s law, we need to follow the law. She would not answer my questions.. So can i then go to the police station and what would i even say? i mean, if they ask to identify myself and i pull out my drivers license (which is suspended for not registering my other dog), aren’t i admitting i am a ‘person’? If i bring in documents like what you stated, but they won’t even look at them, them what? i ca register post send them, bur what about the dog in the meantime??

Also where it lists the exhibits with initials and a number on the affidavit, does it need to have that exhibit initials and number ON the exhibit?

I don’t under stand the page #s of the list of the exhibits on the affidavit. What is that supposed to coincide with?

Also, would it make sense to change on page 6, paragraph 6, where it also re3fers to a document “Notice of Non Consent and Notice of Conditional Acceptance”?

I have also noted on page 3 point 1 states ‘My Creator, being I’m a daughter of the Creator and a woman of faith’, daughter and woman words were missing.

Also on page 2 need to check a few spots where it states the word ‘private’ without the word wo/man.

I wonder if it was the same cop that pulled my son over in the adelaide hills, as well. My son was 17 at the time. He asked for his businness card with indemnity insurance number, at least 3 times. The cop kept asking for his license, my son never said no, kept his cool, kept saying, “we’ll get to that..”.

In the end, he was arrested, never looked in my son’s car that was still running with my 2 year old in there, sleeping. Arrested him, took off to Mt. Barker watch house, left the 2 year old in the car, running. At Mt. Barker, my son heard him on the phone with someone asking if he can arrest a juvenile. After the fact? They put him on bail. That’s all over now. But he does have a video of all the interaction when just pulled over. Is there something to do about a false arrest?

At Mt. Barker, my son was aking questions like, where is the victim, the crime? They told him there are victimless crimes…

I modified my documents to send to ABRS before Mark sent the new lot for them out. I simply put a forward slash where it wrote ASIC and added ABRS after that. I figured it’ll cover all the bases, maybe even ones that i don’t know about:)

once the manager of expiation branch, here in south australia, issues the original fine and it is not paid by the due date, they transfer it to the fines department, who then chases you up with it or suspends your license, etc.. If you decide to dispute it, they say you need to pay 27.00 to return to the expiation branch to dispute or give you a chance to pay by the new due date at the original amount.
